Profil

Gerrit Tamm (* 12. Dezember 1970 in Kellinghusen) ist deutscher Wirtschaftsinformatiker und Unternehmer.
Er ist Professor für Informatik und Wirtschaftsinformatik an der SRH Hochschule Berlin und Geschäftsführer der Asperado GmbH.

Nach dem Studium des Wirtschaftsingenieurwesens an der Technischen Universität Berlin und der University of California in Berkeley war er Stipendiat im Graduiertenkolleg „verteile Informationssysteme“ der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft. Im Jahr 2003 promovierte er mit dem Thema „Netzbasierte Dienste: Angebot, Nachfrage und Matching“ an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Nach einem Post-Doc Aufenthalt an der Hochschule St.Gallen in der Schweiz übernahm er im Jahr 2004 eine Vertretungsprofessur für Wirtschaftsinformatik an der Fachhochschule Erfurt. Er war Geschäftsführer des BMBF Forschungszentrums „InterVal - Internet and ValueChain" und des BMWi Forschungszentrums „Ko-RFID  -   Kollaboration und RFID“.
Er ist Gründer und Geschäftsführer der Unternehmensberatung Electronic Business Forum und Absolvent.de. Prof. Dr. Tamm ist Beirat des eco e.V. (Verband der deutschen Internetwirtschaft e.V) und Mitglied des UDDI Advisory Boards. Beim EU ebusiness watch ist verantwortlich für den IT-Industriesektor. Bis 2004 war er Vorstand für Technologie und Innovation des Juniorenkreises des Wirtschaftsrates Berlin-Brandenburg sowie Mitglied der Medienkommission des Akademischen Senats der Humboldt-Universität.
